Working towards.

Online Safety and eSafeguarding is led by our eSafeguarding Officer and the eSafeguarding Committee. The committee is made up of pupils, parents, governors and members of staff from across the school. The committee meets at least once a term to discuss and review the eSafeguarding Policy, filtering and monitoring logs, concerns and queries, incidents etc.

Each year, the West Yorkshire Police Cyber Team deliver Cyber Awareness sessions to years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Year 5 and 6 also receive a Cyber Bulling session. These sessions are delivered along side sessions for our parents so they are equipped with the knowledge, resources and support to keep their children safe while they are online at home.

Below are some useful links to help keep your children safe online, click on the link to visit the website:

  • BullyingUK - information and advice about bullying for children, parents and schools.
  • Childline - free helpline for children and young people in the UK.
  • KidSMART - an award-winning internet safety programme for children.
  • Know IT All - useful advice for keeping your children, and yourself, safe on the Internet.
  • NetSmartz - advice, information and resources for children, parents and schools.
  • Think u Know - internet safety advice for those aged from 5 to 16, along with parents and teachers, this site is produced by CEOP (the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre).
